New life

I've just moved to a new district - Kwai Chung. Everything is new to me. There are elements that distress me a bit. It's the kind of people living there. I don't really want to say that, but they seem to be quite different, both in terms of their social status and their behaviour. There were two things that really shocked me. The first was the existence of old ladies selling literally junk outside a shopping mall. As far as I remember, the other place that I've seen people doing that is Tin Shui Wai. And I saw them from a TV programme. It was eye-opening for me to witness that.

One good thing is that the broadband service provided by Hutchison is really cool and fast.

達明一派 - 神經

昨日心血來潮，去尋回達明一派 1990 年推出的大碟 - 神經 來聽聽。從89年至今，自己對距離十九載的六四心情已沒甚記憶。但一聽下，忽然重拾當年香港人對大陸的厭惡，對前途的惶恐。英國統治將近結束，可以怎辦？移民？抗議？或者是默默接受？

自己從前沒有認真去聽這張大碟，現在發現達明在當年是走在前端，沒有多少香港歌手會唱出一些那麼“到肉”的歌曲。這是對當時局勢的“有聲抗議”。

相對於現在，新一代對 97 的惶恐不了解、不認識。不能從“愛國”的意識型態以外去對兩岸三地局勢作出批判，叫人感到前程“似咁”。
